***ATTENTION*** Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, items purchased after Wednesday, November 21 will not ship until Friday, November 30th.

Latin for "star," this Stella wrap is inspired the nebula NGC 2174, as seen from the Hubble telescope (read more about my inspiration here). Black merino wool is swirled with greys, blues, and a touch of red. This one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art will make a statement with any outfit. Fine merino is the softest wool out there, and the addition of silk and bamboo only increase the silky feel of this wrap.

Each Sherri O Designs Original starts with top quality materials: the finest and softest Merino wool, pure silk gauze and/or silk habotai, professional earth-friendly acid dyes, and softer-than-air bamboo and silk fibers.  The materials are carefully layered, wetted with soapy water, and worked by hand until the fibers migrate through the silk fabric and shrink down, creating a strong and durable product.

Every scarf and pair of gloves requires hours of individual, hands-on attention.  Because of this painstaking process, no two items are the same.  Each is a unique piece of wearable art.

Caring for your item is as simple as hand-washing in cool water with gentle detergent, rolling in a towel to remove excess water, drying flat or hanging, and ironing with steam.
